So excited to be joining John

Set the reminder! These amazing decanters don’t come around very often! See you Thursday.
Designed by Tom Connally in the late 1960s, these pieces are legendary in the MCM glass world for their “extreme” silhouette—super long, slender necks balanced by incredibly heavy bases. This specific colorway is called “Burnt Honey,” and the way the amber gradient catches the light is just pure 1960s magic. It’s getting harder to find these with their original mushroom stoppers intact. GFC was actually a boutique line produced by Indiana Glass, making these a bit more “architectural” and rare than your standard vintage glassware.
