Like puzzles? 😂🧩

Try putting back together 12 different Hot Wheels and Monster Truck toys that a 6-year-old somehow managed to take apart… with all the pieces scattered across the living room. 🤣🤦‍♀️

The shelf is one I’ve actually finished. Only about 6 more toy puzzles to go! 😂💪

Please tell me I’m not the only parent whose kid can completely disassemble a toy but somehow can’t remember where all the pieces go! 🚗🔧

Sometimes people only see where you are now, not the road it took to get there.

Years ago, I owned one of the largest home staging companies in Arizona. We had an incredible team, a huge warehouse, and I truly loved what we built.

Then we took a chance and opened our own little store at 51st Ave. & Bell.

It absolutely sank our family financially.

For a long time, I felt like I had failed.

After that, I bounced around to several vendor markets, trying to figure out where I belonged. Then I found 2nd Chance Indoor Flea Market… and it honestly felt like home.

What makes it feel like home isn’t just the people—it’s that it’s a family-owned business that pours its heart and soul into what they do. They truly care about their vendors, their customers, and the relationships they build. You can feel that the moment you walk through the doors, and that’s something that’s hard to find.

My passion has never just been selling.

My passion is helping other people grow their businesses, and staging my booth! 🩷

I genuinely get excited when another vendor has a great sales day. I love helping people stage their booths, brainstorm displays, figure out pricing, talk through social media strategies, make videos, improve their pages, and think outside the box. Seeing someone try an idea we talked about and then watching it work is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

I’ve always believed there is more than enough success to go around.

Community over competition will always be my mindset.

I also realized I don’t want to own a traditional retail store anymore. What fills my cup is spending time with my family, thrifting, reselling, creating beautiful booths, making social media content, and encouraging other small business owners to keep going.

So if you’ve been thinking about starting a booth…

Start.

If you’ve been overthinking posting on social media…

Post it.

Go live.

Be consistent.

Be yourself.

People connect with authenticity, not perfection.

If I can encourage one person to take that leap or help another small business grow, that’s a bigger win to me than any sale I could ever make.

We all grow faster when we lift each other up. 🤍

The start of our metal art booth is finally coming together! 🌵✨

We’re filling it with large statement pieces that will make your backyard stand out—from beautiful saguaros and prickly pears to unique desert-inspired yard art.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but the week before school starts I go into full-on nesting mode! 🤣

How do I already have a 1st grader, 3rd grader, and a junior?! 😭 Time needs to slow down!

Since Mom hasn’t been feeling well for the last 6 weeks, let’s just say the house got… extra loved. 😅 But this week we’ve been tackling it all!

✅ Completely organized Bentley’s room and made sure all his clothes fit. Thank goodness I shop the sales all year, because we didn’t even have to do back-to-school shopping!

🎒 Added patches to all the backpacks to make them extra special.

🥫 Organized the entire pantry and took inventory of what we already have.

🍗 Picked up 40 pounds of chicken from Costco Business Center and prepped it for easy crockpot meals. Sports season will be here before we know it!

🧼 Cleaned out the fridge and sanitized everything.

🧇 Meal prepped high-protein waffles to make busy school mornings a little easier.

🧸 The biggest project? Sedona and Bentley helped take EVERY. SINGLE. TOY. out of every bin, sort it all, and reorganize the entire play area. It was a huge job, but they rocked it!

📝 And we finished off the week by making a brand-new chore chart!

Next on Mom’s list? Quietly making a few things “disappear” from the play area that nobody has touched in forever. 😂🤫 And building a shelf in the garage for the 20 giant Monster Trucks that are way too big to fit in a cubby. Why are kids’ toys so massive?! 🤣

Now I’m just crossing my fingers that we can actually keep it this way for more than 24 hours. 😂🤞
