🪵 Every Good Floor Job Starts With the Walkthrough
Before there’s an agreement, before the equipment comes out, and before the transformation begins… I have to understand what the floors actually need.
During my walkthrough, I’m looking at the overall condition of the wood—wear, scratches, damaged areas, existing finish, high-traffic areas, and whether the floor is a good candidate for a screen & recoat or needs a more extensive sanding and refinishing process.
Then comes the most important part: talking with the client. Understanding what they want, what makes sense for the property, and putting together a plan and price that makes sense for both sides. 🤝
I genuinely enjoy this part of what I do. Being able to walk into a property, assess a problem, create a solution and earn a living doing something I worked and prayed for is a privilege I don’t take lightly. 🙏🏾
