Made the huge plunge into opening a local handmade business. ALL of our creations are Made in America with American Materials. I source local lumber and raw materials.Other goods that are made in American are always sourced from local owned businesses when ever possible. LOVE supporting our local economy as well as the US economy. We specialize in Memorial Boxes - Cremation Boxes - Memory Boxes and Pet Memorial Boxes. We also make Tables - Lamps - Rustic Décor - Cutting and Serving Boards - Book Cases - Desks - Pet Beds - Pet Feeding Stations - Benches - Coat Racks

Our Passion is truly in providing a beautiful handmade final resting place for your loved ones. We only use AMERICAN MADE MATERIALS! This business started because when my Father, who was a Veteran, passed we wanted a handmade piece that reflected his personality BUT it had to be AMERICAN MADE. We searched and just couldn't find the right piece for our Fathers final resting place. So I built a cremation box for him at the Gerald Solomon Veterans Cemetery and a Rustic Clock to hold his ashes at our home. Many people liked my work and I have built several more of each - for family, friends and clients. After many people telling me to "start your own business" here we are today with Adirondack Rustic Rose. As we sell through the remaining carvings of over a decade of hand carved wall art it’s humbling and bittersweet to receive messages and comments from past clients who want to let us know that they still love and have their Carving proudly displayed in their homes.

This side hobby known as Adirondack Rustic Rose turned into a full time job for close to a decade. I started out as a furniture builder and Rose had a great idea to make Lake Carvings of Lake George. They would be flat and much easier to ship across the country for our tourist summer population.

This idea turned into a shop that had HUNDREDS of carvings, all done by hand, and carved on Local Adirondack Hardwoods. I carved hundreds of Lakes all over the country and several in Europe and Ireland. It was so cool. By the time we closed, because of COVID, I was carving almost any and everything.

Just a reminder that we have over 100 Lake and Music carvings left from the shop closing in January of 2021. Frank hasn’t been able to work or carve in 4.5 years due to a work accident where he broke his back and needed a spinal fusion.

Music and Carving were 2 of my biggest passions, The Dead were the first combination of blending the two for me. I carved sooooo many different pieces over the course of a decade.
