🐮 Hazel has some company coming!

There have been quite a few Highland cows making their way off the laser lately…and I think Hazel is pretty happy to see the herd growing. 😂🤎

One of my favorite things is watching plain pieces of wood turn into something completely different once the paint starts going on.

Today is a good reminder to slow down a little, enjoy the extra time with family and friends, and appreciate all the hard work that goes into the lives we build.

🌈 Now it’s Harper’s turn to show off her masterpiece! 🌈

Harper painted her very own personalized rainbow sign, and I just love how it turned out! 💕 She picked her colors, added her own creative touch, and was pretty proud of the finished product — as she should be!

One of my favorite things about these DIY projects is seeing how each one turns out completely different depending on the little artist behind the paintbrush. 🎨

🍂 Well…September 1st got me.

I told myself I wasn’t going to go crazy with the fall decorating yet, but apparently this little spot under the TV had other plans. 😂

It’s officially the only fall decorating I’ve done so far!

I don’t have much height to work with here, so I kept it simple — a few cozy fall touches without filling every inch.

And now I’m curious…

When you decorate a small space, are you more:

🎃 I’ve been playing around with a new Halloween DIY idea…

I just cut these little guys out and thought they could make such a fun family Halloween painting project — something to do with the kids, grandkids, or even a few friends. 🎨

Sometimes Halloween decorating is better when it’s more cute than creepy. 👻🎃

I styled this little ghost shelf sitter with neutral pumpkins, dried florals, and a few black-and-orange accents for an easy Halloween corner that still feels cozy.

This is what “Create a Cozy Moment” is really about. ❤️

My grandson Ryan painted his own sign, and I think that smile says everything.

Creating doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s simply being proud to say, “I made that!”

This is exactly why I’m excited to bring more DIY projects to Hop In and Create — projects that are fun, approachable, and give you a little time to create something just for you.

And I have to ask… what do we think of Ryan’s color choices? I think he did pretty darn good! 😊
