These chairs went from outdated blue to unapologetically WILD! 🦓💚

Our customer traded in a tired blue fabric for a bold zebra print, complete with a vibrant pop of green on the back for an unexpected twist. We love when clients choose something that shows off their personality, and these chairs definitely aren't afraid to stand out!

👑 Your Majesty, your throne awaits.

These royal seats have officially been restored and are ready to rule once again! From worn to worthy of the crown, every detail was carefully rebuilt and upholstered to give these thrones the grand entrance they deserve. Check out the details in the wood, too! Our customer is a photographer and will be using them for photos. How fun!

🛠️ What's Under the Fabric?

One of the best parts of upholstery is that you never know what you'll find once the fabric comes off!

During this week's workshop, one of our students started tearing down her ottoman and uncovered something we had never seen before... springs on top of springs! 🤯

Over the years, we've discovered all kinds of creative repairs and unique construction methods, but this one was definitely a first.

That's one of the reasons we teach our students that tear down is all about discovery. We investigate what's underneath, and understand how a piece was built before rebuilding it the right way.
