Went a little wild and crazy! Followed the hack to make an elastic waist for the Falconer pants! Used the waist band pattern pieces from the June pants and added elastic to the cuffs because I felt like it 😆 I believe I got this fabric many moons ago from and had enough (barely) to make these and even pattern match the pockets 🙌🏼 💚

My first pair of June pants in the most lovely linen! I’ve made both versions of the June shorts before, so I already knew I loved the pattern from , but turning it into pants? Next level. These are ridiculously comfortable… like, actually feels like I’m wearing pajamas but still look put together kind of comfy :)
The linen was from (RIP 💔) and I flat felled finished the seams which really helped keep the structure with this lightweight fabric 💚

Me Made May motivation coming in strong!
I finally finished my second pair of Dawn jeans and I’m so glad I didn’t give up on them. I started these over a month ago and they sat unfinished for way too long because of my insecurities. This past weekend I decided to just get them done and it was worth it!
These are the View B straight leg version jeans by with a zipper fly and I really took my time with the details in topstitching. The back in particular took some patience, but I’m so proud of how clean it turned out.

One of my favorite parts of working at a college library is getting to supervise a wonderful group of student workers. And it’s been really special to watch some of them reach graduation!
We have a “Gadgets-to-Go” collection, and recently our co****le bag was on its last leg(last photo). Instead of tossing it, I turned it into six smaller bags. Now, I’m teaming up with my supervisor to add custom touches to each bag, and we’ll be giving them as graduation gifts to our student workers. It feels like a small but meaningful way to celebrate their time here and send them off with something unique 💚juju
