DAY 3 was FULL of the NOT FUN stuff 🫠

The prep work ALWAYS GETS ME… I ended up Filling, Skim Coating , Sanding & Priming…All in one day.

But I promise we are getting close to the big reveal!! I recruited help for day 4…

so follow along to see how everything turns out!! 🤩

I can tell already… this is going to be SO GOOD! 👏🏼

Taking three $30 bookcases and turning them into what will hopefully look like a custom, floor-to-ceiling built-in! 🤞🏼

So far it has been a lot of trim work & soon will be adding the decorative molding & possibly some doors on the base cabinets 👀

Still a work in progress but I already LOVE where this is going!

Putting Stephon to the TEST 👏

After all the painting projects I’ve dragged him into over the years…you’d THINK he’d know a thing or two about my favorite paint colors by now??? Right? 🤔

Let’s see how well he’s been paying attention…

How many do you think YOUR spouse would get right?! 👀

I’m just prioritizing my mental well being every other day 👏

But seriously though…research has found a connection between personalizing your living space and greater satisfaction with life!

A 2024 study, An Architectural Insight into the Role of Personalisation of Homes and Its Effects on Residents Psychological Well being actually explored this connection…

Moral of the story…..Make your home YOURS 🤎
