🥜 Calling all bakers — the Annual Goober Bakeoff is back! 🥜

Think you have a peanut recipe worthy of a trophy? Bring your best cookies, cakes, pies, candies, bars—or whatever peanut-packed creation you do best—to the 2026 Gorman Peanut Festival Goober Bakeoff!

📍 Zhuzh Bakery | 111 S Kent St, Gorman
⏰ Drop-off: 12:00–1:00 PM
💰 NO entry fee!

This year we're making the competition even sweeter with $375 in cash prizes, plus trophies and ribbons! 🏆 First, second and third place will be awarded in each age division, and one peanut-forward entry will take home the title of GRAND CHAMPION — Best Use of Peanuts! 🥜 The Grand Champion prize can even stack with your age-division winnings.

Divisions: K–8th Grade • 9th–12th Grade • Adult, with Grand Champion selected across all divisions.

Every entry must include peanuts or peanut butter as a real ingredient, and you'll need to bring your completed entry form and ingredient list. Want a shot at Grand Champion? Be sure to include your full recipe, too!

Whether you're a seasoned home baker or just have one legendary peanut recipe everyone begs you to make, we want you to enter! Amateur bakers of all skill levels are welcome. ❤️
