Slow-Moving Perfection was started as a hobby after being out on disability from my teaching career. I have Myasthenia Gravis and on good days I like to spend time crafting. Well I have not posted for a while, I have been a little preoccupied…I had an ACL reconstruction surgery Dec. 23rd, so it has been a slow recovery. I have been doing PT at home and actually didn’t leave the house for 21 days straight! I think it was the longest I have ever been home ever, even during COVID because I had to at least go pick up groceries then. Anyway, I wanted to share some of the stuff I worked on right before surgery and let you know that if you are needing something let me know!

I’ve been waiting to post these memorial pieces I made for a special friend, Melinda and family. The last piece was a complete gift and my first time making one. It is far from perfect, but it is the thought that matters and is perfect because Wilma was a very special lady, who loved everyone and never seemed to judge. Wilma had the sweetest voice that I will never forget. I can still hear here her say, “Oh, Melinda!” I feel like she said that often to me or her when she said something her mama didn’t love! Lol Rest in peace, Wilma. You will be missed by many…
