43rd Annual Graceville Harvest Day Festival Set for October 17th
The 43rd Annual Graceville Harvest Day Festival will bring a full day of fall fun, music and community activities to Graceville on Saturday, October 17, at McNeil Technologies on Highway 77 South. Sponsored by the City of Graceville, the annual event is free to attend and will offer activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages.
The day will begin early with the Harvest Festival 5K Harvest Hustle. Registration opens at 7 a.m., with the race beginning at 8 a.m. The annual Harvest Festival Parade will make its way through downtown Graceville beginning at 9 a.m., giving residents and visitors an opportunity to line the streets and help kick off the day's festivities.
Following the parade, entertainment at the festival grounds will begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue throughout the day. Festivalgoers will also have an opportunity to browse arts and crafts, enjoy a variety of food booths and bring the younger members of the family to take part in free kids activities.
This year's entertainment lineup will be headlined by country artist Shane Owens. The musical lineup will also feature Deep South Revival, Sundown, Jerome Jackson and Amelia Anne, providing plenty of live entertainment as festivalgoers make their way around the grounds throughout the day.
Another popular part of Harvest Festival will return with the Antique and Classic Car Show. Visitors will have the chance to check out classic automobiles while enjoying the other activities taking place throughout the festival. For more than four decades, Harvest Festival has provided an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the fall season. With a morning race and parade followed by live music, food, vendors, children's activities and classic cars, this year's festival is set to continue that tradition on Saturday, October 17.
