Just an update we are out of the front yard and onto the porch, it's small, but I'm not complaining. The house is coming along very slowly. The insurance company was excellent. The bank, however, has been complicated to deal with.

Maybe some things don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We fix what we can and adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never be fully ok, but takeaway... we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too. If you're reading this, congratulations, you made it to today... you made it.

Focus on you, do the things that bring you happiness. Do the things that bring you closer to your best each day. Because when you take the focus off of that person, when you take the focus off of that pain then you open yourself up to the healing that you deserve. You don't need "closure". You need acceptance of what is so you can move forward to what will be. You got this! -

Remember God is always answering our prayers for protection. So, sometimes God will remove certain things and people from our life because it’s best for our life. We might not understand it in the moment, but the future will always bring that understanding. ⁣

Just because you're not where you want to be, doesn't mean you're failing at life. You only fail if you give up. Sometimes you have to experience a setback, to make a step up. Sometimes things have to fall apart, so better things can fall into place. How are you going to make this week your greatest week? What's one thing that you WILL WIN? -

Don't let your loyalty become your SLAVERY. Don't let your "loyalty" be the reason you stay miserable the rest of your life. Be loyal to those that deserve it! Be loyal to those that give you that same type of respect back. If they don't show up for you, stop showing up for them. If they can't be your 2 AM person they shouldn't be a part of your day at all. Straight up! -

It matters who you allow access to your heart and life. If they are not adding to your life, then they are subtracting from, blocking, distracting and contaminating your life. What you entertain is what you end up with. Make sure it's moving you forward and not keeping you stuck. Each day could be your last. So, live your life in a way that leaves you with no regrets. -

Every time you focus on what you can't control, you take the power away from what you CAN. Every day you're either doing what gets you where you want to be or you're just playing games with your life. If you want it, go get it. You don't know how to do it, google it. Ask somebody. Be humble and hungry. If it's not helping you it's hindering you. Straight facts. -
