October 8th is National Heroes' Day. In a small town like Neosho, heroes aren’t always found in the headlines. Sometimes, they are the neighbor who shows up when someone needs a helping hand, the first responder who answers the call in the middle of the night, the veteran who proudly served our country, the teacher who believed in a child, or the family member who quietly spent a lifetime caring for others.
At Clark Funeral Homes, we believe these stories matter. They are part of the history and heart of our community. On this National Heroes’ Day, we pause to honor the men and women — past and present — who have served, sacrificed, encouraged, protected, and cared for the people around them.
We are grateful for every local hero whose kindness has made Neosho a better place. Their names may not always be remembered in books, but they are remembered in the hearts of the people whose lives they touched.
Today, we remember. Today, we give thanks. And most importantly, we carry their example forward. 🇺🇸
From our family to yours, thank you to the heroes who have helped make our little corner of the world a better place.
