We have a great selection of DIY kits to make beautiful fabric boxes and other projects, plus DIY kits for crochet, embroidery, wool - lots of fun! We also have beautiful fabrics and wonderful handmade fabric boxes and other projects, ready to go.... one-of-a-kind handmade gifts! I'm SO excited to announce that Ali Manning from Vintage Page Designs (Handmade Book Club) and I are getting together for a very special, one-of-a-kind online workshop!

More than sharing stories about the Fabric Sewing Machine, being inspired by a ton of cartonnage boxes and more, I made the "No-Sew Fabric Angel Ornament", another quick, easy and joyful project to have fun gluing fabric!!

Hello, Fall! 🍁

Fall officially arrived yesterday, and it made me remember this picture I took more than 10 years ago.

I still love it today.

There is something so inspiring about looking at nature, noticing the colors changing around us, and bringing a little bit of that beauty into what we create.

A seasonal fabric can completely transform a box, a book, an organizer... something useful and functional becomes part of the season, part of our home, and part of the memories we are creating.

And maybe that's one of the things I love most about Cartonnage.

We don't need a reason to create. We can simply look around, feel inspired, choose a beautiful fabric, get our glue... and enjoy the process. ❤️

The JOY of creating. The JOY of the season. The JOY of making something with our own hands.

Welcome to Cartonnage - the beautiful technique of transforming paperboard, fabric and glue into sturdy, functional and completely unique creations!

And yes... we can even make a Sewing Machine! 😊

These Fabric Sewing Machines are especially meaningful to us because this year we're celebrating 10 years since I designed the original one...a project that inspired so many new shapes, ideas and possibilities beyond the traditional box.
