A little fall inspiration from the workshop. 🍁

This live-edge serving tray pairs rich walnut wood grain with two contrasting leaf inlays, maple and cherry, and dark metal handles. I love how the natural edge gives the piece its own shape, while the inlays add a detail you notice up close.

This is my favorite of a few new pieces I've put together for the Artisan Market this Sunday, 11-4 at Snowfarm Vineyard.

From the Green Mountains to Wherever Called.

I'm truly honored to have had the opportunity to make these two recognition pieces.

These were presented by the National Guard Association of Vermont to recognize the organizations, Soldiers, and Airmen who recently executed, and are currently executing, important missions all over the world.

Hard maple with walnut accents and a red oak backing. Substantial size at 26"x14".

This custom presentation board was built from hard maple with a cherry inlay honoring service and leadership.

At 14" × 19" × 1¼", it has plenty of substance, with a routed perimeter detail, rounded edges, rubber feet, and a personalized message engraved on the back.

Projects like this are some of my favorites to build. They combine traditional woodworking with details that recognize the people, organizations, and accomplishments behind each piece.
