We’re back!

While we complete our rebranding and focus on our relaunch, we wanted to make sure to provide our lovely customers with the chance to grab HOLIDAY SALES in October!

On Friday October 8th and Saturday October 9th, we will have a booth at an amazing event in Fruita, Colorado! Geminology & Three Little Birds will be present with fresh Fall and Holiday winter scents/gifts, fall and winter decor, and more.

Geminology & Co. is undergoing some maintanence. Long story short, we are switching it up! We will be adding a new line of mystical, celestial candles, lip balms, soaps, wax melts and more!

With that being said — WE ARE NOT accepting anymore online orders until our relaunch! If interested in purchasing locally, please visit the Small Mall on Main in Grand Junction and It's A Plant Thang!

All online orders will be shipped out Monday to avoid candles sitting in shipping warehouses over the weekend during this summer heat wave!

🥴 Reasons to stop buying department store candles & support a small candle business like ours!

1. We promise our wicks will always be aligned.

2. Our wicks are 100% natural cotton!

3. Unlike department store candles, our candles are made by hand ONE AT A TIME, by just one person. Meaning, each candle gets specific attention to ensure safety hazards like this are mitigated.

4. Our candles are made of 100% soy wax. Most department stores will say “soy blend” or “para-soy”. This means that candle includes toxic ingredients!

5. Most department stores will say “made with essential oils”. This is ❌ false ❌! Did you know, the amount of essential oil it would actually take to fragrance a candle is actually a fire hazard? You do now! Okay but how do businesses and department stores get away with displaying this information on their labels?! Simple — they add a drop or two to the batch and voila! A candle made with essential oils.

6. We will never lie to you. We care more about your health and safety than making a sale.

So please! Reconsider purchasing a candle mass produced and sold in department stores. We promise to never put you at risk.

Palo Santo was traditionally used to help treat colds and the flu, relieves anxiety, depression, headaches and reduces inflammation. Not only is palo santo a favorite for aromatherapists but is said to cleanse negative energies and spaces.

We love love love natural avocado and jojoba oil lip balms so we made our own!

Avocado Oil has numerous cosmetic benefits including vitamins A, D and E, moisture enhancing properties, collagen induction and protection against UV rays while Jojoba Oil provides protection for dry, chapped lips, vitamin E, and is a natural anti-aging ingredient ✨

Our lip balm is lightly scented with lavender and vanilla but has no taste, making this balm soft, hydrating and relaxing.

These balms will be $4 and available on our website this week!

The first day of spring this year is on March 20th! We love spring for so many reasons, it’s a season of brightness, renewal and change after a long period of the cold and darkness. We know some of you can relate on a personal level as well.

Good morning Gems!
We just wanted to take a moment to Welcome those of you who have recently joined us. We are so happy you are here.

Geminology and Co. is a small business local to Grand Junction, Colorado. During our first year of business, we spent time perfecting our 100% soy candles and wax melts. This year, we are expanding and are looking forward to sharing more natural products with you!

Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from soy beans. The soy wax is harvested from the soy beans after a process that includes cleaning, rolling and hydrogenating. Although paraffin candles are more commonly created (with petroleum, coal and/or other ingredients), soy candles are environmentally friendly, burn slower and cleaner, produce less soot, and absorbs fragrance better. If you've had the chance to burn a Geminology and Co. candle, you know our scented candles produce amazing fragrance hot-throw.

You can find our soy candles in two small businesses here in Grand Junction, Colorado. First at It's A Plant Thang where you can also purchase beautiful, healthy houseplants, pots, gifts and more, and Small Mall on Main where you can get lost in aisles with amazing little treasures.

You can say our mission is to turn you from buying store bought, paraffin wax or wax blended candles to small business, Geminology & Co. soy candles!
