Thank you everyone for the love, support, and friendship over the years! We have enjoyed our time with all of you! We are grateful for the incredible employees we have had over the years! It is hard to have this be coming to an end but we are excited to see what will be next for 11 1st Ave W, Grand Marais!

Big News! There is retirement on the horizon for Birchbark Books and Gifts after almost 26 years of business! We will be closing the store at the end of the year or earlier if everything has been sold! We give the biggest thanks to our amazing staff that has kept the store running smoothly over the years and our wonderful customers that we have enjoyed getting to know!

We are offering a 25% off Storewide Sale and numerous items are marked as low as 50% off (including Used Books!)! Reminder our hours are 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday and sometimes Sundays.

Please use any gift certificates you have while there is still a selection!

We pay either cash or gift certificate based on your preference.

We could use all genres except romance and adult fantasy, and we do not accept textbooks/library books.

* Reminder: Hardcover books must have their jackets. All books should be in good condition.
