Good morning, cooking Busters food this morning, before all the criticism starts his food is more balanced nutritionally than mine meals ! I researched a lot and continue to look for healthy options.
7 lbs ground turkey, 1 lb thin sliced steak, 1 lb beef liver , 2 cups old fashioned oats ( yes some carbs and grains are good for them )
1 cup quinoa, 1/2 cups old fashioned flax seed and barley .
Frozen vegetables- 1 bag broccoli and cauliflower , blueberry, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, green beans puréed , 2 tablespoons turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ( yes this is good for inflammation) 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning for aroma .
At meal time I add dog vitamins and fish oil . Sometimes a bit of kibble for crunch . I have calcium ordered hasn’t arrived yet !
Buster is an 8 year old rescued staffy , pitty with several others mixed in . He’s happy healthy and a lot spoiled .

I’m sure glad my people know michiana is not in the bad storm area , some people have no clue how to check the weather themselves and realize it’s SOUTH of us ! Yes it’s freaking cold , don’t leave dogs out more than a couple minutes, watch them make them come in. No it’s not bad enough to stay home from work ! You don’t get paid to stay home ! Yes drive cautionusly slow down there could be ice . But stop acting like it’s the end of the freaking world! 🙄🙄🙄🙄
