At Smart Energy Solutions we install Pellet, Wood and Gas Fireplaces as well as Generac home standby generators. Cole Chesley & John Clark are the owners of Smart Energy Solutions. Cole's Father, Alec & John opened Smart Energy in March of 2009. Prior to opening this location they spent 3 years selling & researching pellets & pellet stoves. When they realized the impact of alternative heating sol
utions and they found a perfect location in Grant, MI they knew it was a great opportunity. Cole & John are proud to have this family run and operated business in a small community, close to home. John Clark grew up working for his Grandfather and Father in the Construction business. John has spent most of his life learning and perfecting how to make a home functional as well as efficient. This skill has been essential when assisting customers of Smart Energy choose the perfect heating option and installation process. John has also burned a wood boiler in his own home and has learned many tips and tricks about boilers.
Cole Chesley grew up working for his father, Alec, with that he has learned the in's and out's of excellent customer service and what it takes to continue to grow a small business. Cole holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Ferris State University. He has used that along with previous knowledge of managing the family owned convenience stores to continue improving the way Smart Energy Solutions conducts business and interacts with its valued customers. Cole has first hand experience with pellets and pellet stoves, as well as Generac home stand-by systems. Cole is our Generac certified service and installation technician. Smart Energy Solutions carries several brands of wood pellets & four sizes of anthracite coal. We also carry a variety of stoves that burn wood pellets, coal, gas and wood. We are also a dealer for WoodMaster Outdoor Wood Boilers. In the summer months, we stay busy with customized golf carts, bbq grills and smokers. As well as a new addition to our lineup we have become a dealer for Generac, offering home stand-by units and installation. We are happy to be a part of a small community and look forward to helping you with any of your needs.
