I'm a designer and maker of fabric comforts for the home, with quilts large and small, gifts, kitchen and tabletop linens. Growing up on a farm near the historic Swedish-American communal village of Bishop Hill, Illinois, I learned from my family to use craft and imagination to give beauty to everyday useful textiles. In my studio in Texas, I try to honor my family's make-do spirit, love of color and their ability to make just about anything from fabric and thread.
