No data centers!

Earlier this year, Governor Mills vetoed a temporary, targeted pause on large-scale data center development in Maine, specifically to allow this proposed data center in Jay to proceed. But, now it seems this very proposal is dead, and Maine communities and the environment are left vulnerable.

We’ve seen what happens when data centers move into communities – skyrocketing electricity prices, rampant noise pollution, local water supplies depleted or polluted – and we can’t let that happen here.

You can help protect your community from data centers by advocating for a temporary moratorium in your town or city in Maine. DM us or reach out to our Organizing Director, [email protected] for help and more information.

Buddy has officially moved into the dollhouse (a summer project I picked up to fix up and decorate with the kiddo) He’s slept in there his first night and thinks with a little decor and TLC he will settle in just fine. 🤣🤣

I almost couldn’t believe my eyes! For whatever reason when I did the preorder myself, I didn’t get zinnias. I got celosia. So to see this was a HUGE surprise and I was so happy!! Yes, picture says sold because I thought of this silly post while I was legit racing there and had to grab the picture when I had safely arrived! 🤣🤣

How would you feel… I’m feeling frustrated and want to know if I’m in the wrong for feeling this way. Last October I ordered a mix pack of ranunculus corms picture shown below, blurry because I zoomed in from my confirmation email its no longer listed on their site due to time of year. I know how it goes with mixes might get all white or all yellow or whatever but AT LEAST it should be one of the varieties shown. If this purple had been in the photo I would not have gotten it as its completely different and will not mix with the others. I have nothing in this color palette planned and I plan on drying them. These will not dry well and be a bright addition to my wreaths, I am so livid right now. They’re all coming up in this color, nothing else. Am I wrong for feeling this way? It seems so misleading. Buying from a small farm instead of a big supplier and anticipated better communication and results.

Weeding the self sowed garden bed from last year requires a fire playlist and some off key solos as I’m sure you all can attest.
