Our collection of baskets for Field Studies Flora is part of a curation of tools by founder Alex Crowder for those who practice, admire or aspire to surround themselves with the natural world.

The baskets are woven to enhance a school of thought and movement through the environment— one that celebrates pause and interaction. At its core, a woven invitation open to those interested in the act of radical grounding.

I’ve wanted to host a proper retreat for a while— the restorative nature of basket making married with rest, thoughtful meals and likeminded company.

I’m so pleased that we will be in Kennebunk at The White Barn Inn for just that. May 15-18 we are making space for a beautiful Woven Tote Weaving Workshop, sharing meals and using my weekend field guide to local Maine to explore the coast with our baskets.
