I'm thrilled with the finished look of this reverse decoupage on mirror piece. Right down to the "barbed wire" added to the patinaed metal frame!

My barrel racing barrel chair for the upcoming 2026 auction for Tony Alexander - Memorial Barrel Race is completed.

The paper is custom based on input from a real barrel racer. None of the papers on the market are accurate. But thanks to the "Print your own design" option through WhimsyKel Designs, I was able to get a more authentic design printed.

When I received the paper, I saw how the shirt design on the rider coordinated nicely with the SW Aztec paper I had purchased from Old Dame Designs earlier. So this became the final design.

And using my favorite paints from Dixie Belle Paint Company, I painted in where needed including the stencil design down the front legs.

I pray it brings top dollar at the auction in October! πŸ™πŸ»

I was invited to have a booth at the three-day event, so this will be my first booth event for my unique artisan furniture and decor items! Profits from the both event will be split between Tony Alexander Memorial and Sanctuary In Trauma.

There will be lots of equestrian-themed pieces as well as non, and all range of prices; so something for anyone and everyone!
