We’re excited to be back in NYC working with a client who wants her apartment completely renovated and made lifestyle friendly with functional, usable space for family.

On our latest site visit, we measured, sketched, and created a floor plan for the kitchen, pantry, entry foyer and more.

Proof that a log cabin can feel both cozy and luxurious.
A favorite project to revisit as we celebrate the first day of autumn!

Initially built in 1971, the Modern Log Cabin sits on 22 acres of wilderness in Monterey, MA. Valerie sketched her vision and then put it into action.

We’ll share a few more memories of this extraordinary home.

Whether generic home design trends lean toward traditional wallpaper, cabin warmth, paints of various hues, natural stone, or floor-to-ceiling windows, there’s no one right answer to what’s the best option for *your* walls… Other than a design that fits your unique lifestyle.

It’s hard to believe that autumn is already next month, but before we know it here in the Berkshires we will be surrounded by the beauty of fall foliage.

The end of summer is a great time to plan home updates that’ll have you ready for that eventual chill in the air, from a holiday-ready kitchen to finally adding the fireplace of your dreams. (And don’t forget that landscape.)

Photos from a dream home we designed, built, and finished last fall, proving that luxury and cozy can coexist!
