A long weekend with nothing to do? Heaven. Does it actually exist? Not for many of us these days.

But Labor Day feels like a good reminder to slow down and appreciate all the people behind what we do. The talented tradespeople who bring our projects to life, the amazing clients who trust us implicitly, and our families who understand when we stop mid-sentence to take a call, snap a photo for a project, or move the tile samples over so someone can actually sit in the car.

Feeling very lucky to do work we love with people we love working with. Happy Labor Day weekend 🤍

May is here. And with it comes sunshine, green grass, and outdoor living. ☀️

While interior design is often thought of as everything inside, our work starts long before that. Exterior materials, the way a home sits on the land, the outdoor spaces where people actually live all summer… it all sets the tone and foundation for everything that follows. This is especially important when your outdoor living seasons are short.

Whether it’s a lake home or a small city patio, the materials and how you use the space matter just as much outside as they do in. The easy route is often the most durable, man-made option, but the spaces that really hold up over time tend to lean into natural materials that bring texture and life. They elevate and create a timeless aesthetic.
