Berners Schober's principles have remained unchanged since Henry Foeller opened our firm in 1898. We design community-focused structures that improve the lives of our neighbors. And that serves as the foundation for every project and every relationship.

Serving clients in higher education, healthcare, manufacturing, government, and commercial real estate, the platform helps make critical facility information accessible to everyone.

Autodesk Platform Services recently featured Spatial Innovations as a customer success story, recognizing FaciliTwin's innovative approach to connecting BIM, CAD, and operational data within a modern web-based platform. The new Waupaca Business Center is now open!

Located in the Waupaca Recreation Center, the welcoming space is designed to support entrepreneurs, remote workers, small businesses, job seekers, and local organizations. The Business Center features flexible coworking space, private office suites, meeting rooms, telehealth rooms, and a professional A/V studio, providing valuable resources to enhance connectivity, collaboration, and economic growth.

The project also included a new gymnasium addition, expanding recreational opportunities and enhancing the Recreation Center's ability to serve the growing needs of the community.

This addition was made possible through a combination of thoughtful planning, design, and strategic funding. Our grant administration consultant, Robert E. Lee & Associates, played a critical role in managing project funding, helping bring the community's vision to life.

We look forward to seeing how this new community hub supports residents, businesses, and innovators for years to come.

It's always rewarding to revisit a project and help write its next chapter. We're proud to have served as both the original architect of the Bay Beach Pavilion over 100 years ago and the design team for these recent upgrades that have transformed the facility into a year-round event venue.

Earlier this week, we welcomed a group from the YWCA Greater Green Bay TechGYRLS program to our office!

After a quick introduction, the girls explored our nearly 130-year-old building and got a behind-the-scenes look at how ideas turn into real-world design. Using the tools and technology we use every day along with some hands-on, creative activities, they experienced different aspects of the architecture, engineering, and interior design fields. To wrap up the visit, they used AI to design their dream classroom, unicorns included.

Our team had a great time planning their visit and we hope they left feeling inspired to keep exploring what’s possible in design, and maybe even envisioning themselves in it someday!

Interior design plays a vital role in shaping environments that support how people work, learn, heal, and connect. Thoughtful, well-executed interiors do more than enhance aesthetics. They improve comfort, support productivity, and contribute to the overall well-being of those who use the space every day. They also serve as a powerful reflection of an organization’s identity, helping clients reinforce their brand and culture through the built environment.

With a combined 41 years of experience, our Interiors team is engaged in every phase of the design process - from early space planning and programming through the selection and specification of finishes, furnishings, and materials. Their approach is grounded in listening and understanding each client’s goals, users, and operational needs first and then translating that insight into spaces that are both highly functional and thoughtfully designed.

Across our corporate, government, education, and healthcare work, the team brings a strong understanding of evolving design trends, product performance, and material application. The result is interiors that not only look great on day one but continue to perform over time

Tomorrow's allows us to recognize the impact of intentional interior design and celebrate the creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration our Interiors team brings to every project.
