This video is years in the making, not because it had a huge hollywood budget and actors but because I am slow. I used GoPro Quick's auto edit feature for the edit since thats not a skill I have.

I hope to get more active with my posting and to get to selling some items so reach out if you see anything you like or have an idea.

Recently I was lucky enough to add a Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer to the shop. It's nice to be able to create out of beautiful wood and then toss in a little 3D printing for finishing touches. I printed the X's with Bambu Lab's White PETG HF.

It's been a while in the making, but I was able to finish our dining room table this week. This is a 42" x 83" black walnut table with a hard wax finish finish and a ceramic coating for added durability. We broke in the table tonight with a smoked wild hog dinner that I was able to harvest myself thanks to floridaleadslingersoutdoors hosting a free hog hunt for veterans in December 2023. It's feels great to finish this project!

I have been slowly working on this walnut table for our dining room. Today I was able to rent some time on a large double belt sander to get the tabletop cleaned up. There is still work to be done for the final dimensions and edging but its coming along.

I made a good amount of progress for the legs and apron as well. Hopefully this will be in our space soon.

Getting the grain pattern picked out and labeled so we can start milling it up and turning it into a tabletop. The wood is walnut delivered to the shop by Woodworkers Source . I'll be using the Festool Domino for alignment and Titebond Dark to glue it up. I'm loosely basing the design off The Wood Whisperer, so thanks for the inspiration!

This is my first table top so let's hope it goes as smooth as they make it look on YouTube 😉.

I am saving some valuable shop space with this Jet Flip Top table I purchased at Rockler. I was able to bolt my Dewalt 735 Thickness Planer to it. I had to remove the crank handle (one screw), but as you can see, I found a way to keep it all contained.

I turned my Rigid Oscillating Sander 90* and the bolts just miss the planer underneath. The whole thing is rolling on 3" swivel/brake casters. It's like it was meant to be!

I was able to finish this Adirondack Bench while still in the temporary shop. I had some additional hands to help construction, and the recipient of the bench actually helped during the final assembly! The bench is made from West African wood named Sapele, which is a popular substitute for African Mahogany.

Next week we'll close on the new place and I'll start building out the new shop so hopefully my wooodworking journey updates will be more frequent in the future.

Is anyone up for a game of Aggravation?

It's premise is similar to the childhood game trouble where you try to get your pieces around the gameboard before everyone else.

I was able to cut everything to size, create a method of joining/aligning the game board, and even laser engraved the layout for the dimples that will be put into the top.

The dimpling and finish work is going to be handled by my friend. I'm thankful he asked me to help with his project, and I hope he enjoys the game for years to come.
