Day of the Dead is a beautiful, joyful Mexican tradition honoring the lives and memories of loved ones who have passed on.
💐It’s a time to celebrate, remember, and keep their spirits alive through stories, flowers, food, and family traditions.

Here at Native Gardens, we’ve lovingly created two traditional ofrendas (altars) for our guests to enjoy and learn about this meaningful celebration. 🧡

Our colorful Día de los Mu***os collection is also bursting with handmade papier-mâché art, beautiful Catrinas and Catrins, cookbooks, saint imagery, festive décor, marigolds, and so much more!

Chile Ristras, pansies and a huge Cactus shipment!

🌶️THE CHILE RISTRAS HAVE BEEN REPLENISHED! 🌶️

Welcome to Ristra Season! 🔥🍂

Harry drove to Hatch, New Mexico and back yesterday, continuing our family’s 30+ year tradition of bringing these beautiful chile ristras home to Southern Arizona!

And talk about FRESH! These Sandia chiles were just picked on Monday and then carefully hand-tied into each beautiful ristra. They are fresh, full and absolutely gorgeous! 🌶️❤️

Each handmade ristra contains approximately:

🌶️ 1 Foot — $20 • 60–70 chiles
🌶️ 2 Foot — $40 • 120–140 chiles
🌶️ 3 Foot — $55 • 180–200 chiles!

That’s a LOT of individual chiles being picked and tied by hand! ❤️

More than beautiful decoration, chile ristras are a longtime Southwest tradition, symbolizing welcome, good tidings, good fortune and well wishes for the home.
