My first patchwork hoodie is officially finished 🙌 and it’ll be ready for Sunday!
This one was made completely from scratch and lined with fleece on the inside—including the hood—so it’s extra cozy and truly made for comfort. I usually wear a medium/large, and this fits me with plenty of room to spare. I followed an XL pattern to give it that relaxed, comfy feel.
I was planning to make matching pants… but I ran out of orange fabric 😂 so this hoodie is definitely getting its moment to shine on its own.
I really hope you guys like it 🫣 and if there’s interest, I’d love to make more. These take a lot of time, patience, and love, and I’m still figuring out pricing since the fabric wasn’t thrifted—especially the butterfly print, which was a bit pricier. That said, I don’t plan on selling these at the super high price points you see on some sites. Beautiful work, absolutely… but your girl isn’t paying $150–$200 for a hoodie 😅
Sewing is truly just my creative outlet. I’m a full-time massage therapist outside of this, and this is my little hobby—my mental break from the world. Creating brings me joy, and I’m just excited to share that with you 🤍
( also my craft room is in my finish basement. We had water damage as to why the rafters above me look the way that they do or some of the ceiling tile is missing we’re still fixing and replacing things. but the mess on the floor is all me 🫣😂)
