Again My name is Shirl – wife, mom of five, dog lover, full-time worker, and candle maker in the quiet moments. Life in my world is beautifully busy — between raising five amazing kids, caring for our four lovable pit labs, and working full time, things rarely slow down. But when I do find a moment to myself, I cherish the chance to breathe, unwind, and just be. That’s where my love for candles began — in the quiet corners of my day, when lighting a candle helped me turn chaos into calm. Lazy Morning Candles will officially reopen on Sunday, September 27th.

I’m just getting back in town after taking some time to handle things for my mom. This has been an incredibly difficult time for me and my family, and I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support while I navigate the loss of my mom.

I’m grateful for each of you and excited to get back to doing what I love. Thank you for allowing me the time and space to take care of my family. ❤️
