Today at The Butterfly House, we walked the site with Tom King of King Custom Homes, Kurt and the team at In.Site:Architecture, and our wonderful clients as construction continues in full swing.
We spent the morning reviewing the build, and then headed out to select stone—and lots of it.
From the shoreline to the gardens, stone was the focus of the day. Stone walls overlooking the lake. Pathways that meander through the landscape. Stepping stones, stair stones, patio stones, deck-top stones, and even the smallest pebbles that will find their place within a quiet Zen garden.
Every element matters.
But the real story isn’t the stone.
It’s being part of a team where talented people bring their expertise to the table, build upon one another’s ideas, and make stronger decisions together. It’s sharing a vision for a home that feels as though it has always belonged to this place.
Together, we are creating a home rich with character, deeply personal to our clients, and designed to stand the test of time for generations to come.
