🤩 wow so March 1 started the spring collection.
I am most excited about the mandolin.

🤩the guacamole and rotisserie seasoning.

👉Especially since we are going to be using all the features of the air fryer.

Happy New Year y’all!!!

I hope you all are having a great year so far. Thank you for liking Cooking with the Loves and for supporting our business.

Before Christmas my boys saw a picture of French Macarons and asked if we could make them...

I agreed but didn’t realize what I was getting myself into 😜🤪🤣.

My goal in starting this business is to teach my sons, create memories and inspire confidence by using cooking as our tool and of course share this with you all so that you can create the same memories with your family especially during this time when family is everything.

As a mom, I want them to be able to take care of themselves and know how prepare some basic recipes and maybe a few others 🤪.

Random ramble... One thing I love about my husband is that he used to call his mom when she was still alive and ask her how she made different recipes all the time; now he calls on his sisters 💜.

If you can master a recipe, you can follow directions... which means you can learn anything.

Anyway... back to the macarons... we used a recipe from Broma Bakery... https://bromabakery.com/foolproof-macaron-recipe-step-by-step/

😂 I know ours don’t look exactly the way they should ... (we had no feet)... but most importantly the boys are very happy with the way they turned out on our first attempt.

I know that I will need to tweak 2 things a little the next time we make these.

👉weigh the almond flour and sugar mixture after they have been sifted (twice) because when I sifted the flour...there was some flour left in the sifter and I believe that made our mixture a little more wet.*

👉dont add any liquid food coloring - use gel or powder based food color instead... I thought we had a gel based food color but I must have hidden it from myself 😜
