Classic livable spaces designed for the signature way you really live. "Jess and her crew are amazing. Full service all the way. Morris

Jess Dauray and her talented design team specialize in an "inspiration to installation" whole-home design concept. Whether it's a new construction project or a seasonal vacation home, no detail is overlooked. Jess's unique interiors are effortless, livable, and chic, incorporating the perfect balance of classic clean lines with function and luxury. JDI's projects include residences throughout the North Carolina mountains, Metropolitan New York area, and the Southeastern United States. Jessica Dauray Interiors is a full service luxury interior design firm with offices in Greensboro, Wilmington, and Asheville, North Carolina. They designed our Asheville residence and we couldn't be happier. We worked with them from our home in Florida and felt extremely secure knowing they were on the job and acting as our on-site advocates. Our new home is perfect - Jess listened to what we wanted, and far exceeded our expectations. She took care of every detail down to the stocking the fridge with essentials in anticipation of our arrival. I can't wait to get her involved on our next project."

There’s something special about a mountain hideaway… 🍂
The kind of place where the day slows down, the light softens, and home feels like an exhale.

For this space, we layered warm woods, soft textures, and collected pieces to create a retreat that invites you to curl up with a book, enjoy a glass of w**e, and watch the seasons shift outside your window. A room designed for comfort, ease, and being fully present.

Great clients make for great collaborations.
If you’re dreaming of a home that feels like your sanctuary — warm, welcoming, and beautifully personal — I’d love to help bring it to life.

Let’s work together:

Swipe 👉🏻 to step into a world where rustic charm meets modern elegance!

Step into a world where rustic charm meets modern elegance! My latest project in the North Carolina mountains, turned a once drab loft into a dreamy guest suite that captures the tranquility of mountain living.

✨ Floor Magic: We painted the floors a crisp, clean white, instantly lightening and brightening the space. This simple change transformed the atmosphere, making it feel open and inviting.

🪢 Set the Space: To add character and define the space, we introduced a unique rope divider. This not only serves as a functional piece but also complements the rustic aesthetic.

🛋 Textural Bliss: Embracing the cabin-in-the-woods vibe, we incorporated rich textures like denim and sisal rope. A fun printed log pillow adds a playful nod to the surroundings without veering into clichéd territory.

🌿 Nature-Inspired Decor: The overall design subtly pays homage to the mountain landscape, blending natural materials with cozy comforts. It’s a space where guests can unwind and feel completely at home.

Whether you’re dreaming of a peaceful getaway or planning your own loft renovation, let this transformation inspire you to bring a bit of mountain tranquility into your home.

Art isn’t just decoration — it’s part of your story. Let’s curate something extraordinary.

One of my favorite parts of design is thoughtfully incorporating art into the home. With degrees in both Interior Design & Art History, I help clients build and refine collections — whether it’s selecting investment pieces, sourcing decorative art to finish a space, or simply adding that eclectic, unexpected touch that makes a home truly personal.

While at High Point Furniture Market, I discovered some beautiful and playful decorative pieces — perfect for adding character to empty walls or giving a space a curated, layered feel

I work with a broad range of clients — from those who love traditional elegance to those who appreciate a more quirky, artful approach — always tailoring selections to reflect their unique lifestyle and vision.

Art isn’t just something we hang — it’s an essential part of the story we tell in every room.

Upgrading your kitchen? Quality matters! Investing in the right pieces from the start makes a big difference in the long run. Whether you want to redo the entire kitchen all at once or take things in stages—like swapping out fixtures and finishes—having a designer ensures it turns out exactly as you envision. Here’s an example of a few small changes: adding pendant lighting, a kitchen chandelier, or new hardware can completely transform the space. A designer can help you create a game plan that works for your style and budget. Do it right the first time with expert guidance! 🏡✨

White never goes out of style…nor does anything you really like or love. I always tell my clients…be damned with trends. Let’s design a space that tells your story.
My story today is about my old tennis shoes 🙂
I have fond childhood memories of these Jack Purcell sneakers….hours at the club - sunning, swimming and tennis. Some things just get better with age.
