Giving flowers a second life and spreading kindness throughout our community. đź’š

Today, our incredible Friends With Flowers volunteers gathered to create arrangements for Corks With Kids Path, an event that raises funds and awareness for medically fragile and grieving children.

Friends With Flowers is our nonprofit initiative that repurposes gently used event florals, transforming them into beautiful arrangements for local hospice houses and community organizations. Their dedication, creativity, and servant hearts make a meaningful difference every week.

Thank you to each volunteer who shares their time and talents so generously. We couldn’t do this without you.

Some flowers say what words cannot. 🌿

When a customer wanted to comfort her granddaughter after the loss of her beloved dog, Meadow, we designed an arrangement inspired by her name—filled with airy grasses, natural textures, and meadow-like blooms. Soft ruffled lilies add a touch of beauty and tenderness, creating a tribute as gentle and special as the memories she leaves behind.

Meet Karli 🌿

If you’ve visited us during the summer or school breaks over the past three years, chances are you’ve already met Karli. We’re excited to share that she’s now back in Greensboro full-time, which means you’ll be seeing a lot more of her around the shop!

While you’ll find Karli helping customers and working throughout the store, she’s especially known for her incredible orchid plantings. With a creative eye and a knack for designing unique orchid supports, she transforms each planting into something truly special. Her orchid creations are thoughtful, artistic, and so popular that they rarely stay in the shop for long.

We’re thrilled to have Karli with us year-round and can’t wait for you to experience her talent and creativity firsthand. Stop by and say hello! 💚

A little world, built by hand. ✨

Watch as one of our florists transforms a simple glass vessel into a living terrarium, layering stone and soil to create the foundation for a miniature landscape. A lush fittonia becomes the centerpiece “tree,” while winding stone paths, tiny plants, and thoughtful details bring the scene to life.

The finishing touches? Delicate gold-cast mushrooms tucked among the greenery and a tiny glass heart hidden in the corner—waiting to be discovered.

It’s these small details that turn a terrarium into something more than a planting. They create a story. 🌿💚

Some weddings just feel timeless from the very beginning — Cat + Wyn’s celebration at The Carolina Inn was exactly that.

Layered with romantic florals, soft movement, and a palette that felt both joyful and refined, every detail came together beautifully inside one of Chapel Hill’s most iconic settings. From the first stems placed during setup to the final candlelit tables, this one was such a privilege to create.

Cat & Wyn’s wedding at The Carolina Inn had that rare feeling of being both elegant and completely relaxed at the same time. No fuss, no performance — just a genuinely lovely group of people having a beautiful day together.

The atmosphere of the day — along with the timeless feel of The Carolina Inn itself — made black & white feel especially right here. Quiet little in-between moments while getting ready, emotional glances during the ceremony, that wonderfully dramatic veil catching the light perfectly, and a first dance beneath chandeliers that felt straight out of an old film.

And, as ever, the Carolina Inn proved ridiculously photogenic at every turn.

Daniel at Harmony Weddings & Events, along with the entire vendor team, created such a calm and thoughtful atmosphere throughout the day. One of those weddings where everyone was simply brilliant at what they do and everything flowed beautifully from beginning to end.
