This guest bathroom is so beautiful and serene and lovely and all the things. The vanity base is a gorgeous deep sage green. Once we chose that, it helped set the tone for the vibe of the rest of the bathroom. The tub was ripped out and replaced with gorgeous floor-to-ceiling tile for the custom-designed shower. What a transformation!

Here is the living room that's next to the bedroom from yesterday's post. Now you can see why we chose the coloring of the bedroom -- it came from this seafoam-green sofa the homeowner fell in love with and purchased. It's so pretty!

When I started this whole-house makeover, it was in preparation for the homeowner to eventually put the house on the market. She knew things needed to be updated but she didn't want to feel rushed and she wanted to enjoy living in the made-over spaces for a bit before selling the house. After more than a year of enjoying the home, she finally put the house on the market last weekend and it SOLD IN A FLASH! Her early preparations (and forethought of her Realtor) made it possible for the sale to be a smooth process.

Trying to get caught up on posting photos from past projects and I can't believe I never posted the rest of the gorgeous house other than the primary bathroom reno. We finished the project in the spring of 2025.

Check out the primary bedroom. Such a sweet, lovely retreat with a beautiful color palette. The pink bedding belonged to the homeowner so we started from there. The green is a deeper tone of the seafoam-colored sofa in the nearby living room. Continuity of color was important in this bedroom because you can see into the bedroom from the living room.

Happy Monday! Here is Part 3 of the staging we shared with you last week. The transformation of the sunroom is one of my favorites. We only removed one piece of furniture but the reorientation of the space is what pulled this room together and made it beautiful!

Here is another staging for books! You will not believe the before and afters of these spaces. Even I can't believe it! We worked for two solid days on this one! We used ONLY what was in the home. The homeowner had some amazing things to work with, which is often the case but sometimes we have to dig to find them. You may see a lot of random stuff in the before but we see the potential for the after.

Check out this staging we did a couple of weeks ago. Using what the homeowners had on hand, we created spaces that highlighted the beautiful home and not so much the things in the home (which is the idea of staging, after all). We didn't have to move a lot of stuff to the garage, we were able to find a good home for most of the pieces which is always a plus for the sellers.

Got a blank stairwell in need of something fun that's not a wall of family photos? :) This homeowner literally handed us a stack of various pieces of art she'd been collecting for years (postcards, sentimental greeting cards, art she'd purchased from street artists in other countries, etc, etc) and asked us to create a gallery wall for her.

This was a fun challenge specifically because most of the art was not standard sized so we had to get creative with how to frame it. Plus, we wanted to include any written info that accompanied the pieces so that we could highlight the artist or event. There are also a few floating frames which were purposefully used so that the homeowner could take the frame off the wall and look at the back of the art which had an artist's autograph or info of some kind on it. We also chose to follow the angle of the stairs which gave the wall a more artsy/curated look. Message me if you, too, need a literal walk down memory lane hanging on your walls!

We have the best time re-imagining people's homes with the things they already own. We love the challenge of walking into a house and being able to visualize how it can come together by using pieces from all over the house including the things we find inside closets and cabinets. It is a true "trill of the hunt" situation which scares most people but invigorates us!

This is a house we staged two weeks ago that has hit the market. We staged every room in the house but here are some highlights.

Here is Part 2 of the Before and After photos for the entry into the 2026 Tour of Historic Homes and Gardens featuring Starmount Forest last weekend. This post features the bedrooms, bathrooms and sun porch.

Again, we worked with what the homeowners already had but purchased some things to fill in gaps so that the house felt finished. I failed to mention in my last post that the homeowners put a fresh coat of paint on their walls so that there was consistency throughout the house. They used SW Alabaster which is one of my go-to choices for a white paint that seems to work well in most every scenario.
