An article in Elle Decor, November 2025 said, “The Future Is Antique”. We at Greensboro Antiques could not agree more. With prices skyrocketing, vintage and antique pieces are not only great investments, but the most reasonable way to furnish your home. One trend we are noticing is the love of burled veneer woods. Hall trees have also been an often requested item. This reproduction piece answers both! Eclectic style with a burled walnut veneer, large oval mirror, hooks for hats and jackets, drawer for keys, top shelf with caned bottom plus built-in umbrella stand, this gem would be a perfect signature furnishing for your foyer. it just arrived in our store yesterday so come see us and grab it for your home!

This is such a treasure! Vintage 1950’s mid-century Majolica inspired hand-painted table lamp. Crafted from ceramic this lamp features an intricate raised design of blooms, fruits and foxes. Glazed in rich turquoise blues and warm golds with a high shine multi coat finish it is sure to be a signature piece in any room it graces. From the top of the lamp where two n**e winged figures appear to hold up the light to the antique brass base encircled with patterns of pressed flowers and the enchanting putti boys holding down the base it delights! In mint condition and even still has the original shade. Incredibly reasonable price of $105, do a look see on google…IYKYK😉

The last Monday in May is Memorial Day. A national holiday to honor the memory of the military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Thank you Sherrie Shaner for putting together a window to shine a light on our men and women in the military and help us celebrate them. Everything from inlaid marquetry boxes, quilts, vintage paper doll art, Tiffany style lamps, a full set of Noritake Canton porcelain china, Eclectic style Victorian settee circa 1875- 1890, beautiful three candle holder with cherub, kneeling prayer, bench, lovely framed handmade, fiber art, fab bar cart with carved swan motif and bottle holders. We are so excited to introduce you to Phillip Parnell. Phillip is new to town and brings his amazing talents with him. Phillip is one of those fix-it type of people that can diagnose the issue and then figure out the solution. He’s a master at lamp repair and is learning about clocks. After sending a couple of lamps to him to restore and seeing the beautiful finished results we wanted to let everyone know we have a great new lamp repair shop in town. Phillip’s shop, Vintage Restoration, is located at the back of Greensboro Antiques. You may drop lamps off at the shop during our open hours or contact Phillip directly.
