We just wrapped up a trip to Tennessee and found a couple of new places I fell in love with! Of course, I snapped pictures of things that caught my eye, even the things I didn’t bring home. Stay tuned for pictures of our HUGE haul! We found some good stuff, and I can’t wait to share it all with you.

If you ever find yourself traveling toward Nashville, TN, I wanted to share two places worth adding to your shopping stops!

📍 Boone’s Antiques
204 N Main St, Smiths Grove, KY 42171
This local shop is full of vintage merchandise and primitive pieces, and the house it’s in is the perfect setting. I loved the entire layout and how everything was displayed. The building itself adds so much to the experience, and I could have spent even more time looking around!

📍 Springfield Antique Barn
700 S Willow St, Springfield, TN
They also have a new expansion across the street at 701 S Willow St!
With over 30,000 square feet, two floors, and more than 130 vendor spaces inside a converted 100-year-old to***co market, there is plenty to look through. What really impressed me was how much I loved the vendor booths. That’s honestly rare for me in a large antique mall! So many spaces were filled with the kinds of vintage, primitive, and farmhouse pieces I love to hunt for.

We love finding new places to shop, getting inspiration, and, of course, bringing home treasures to share with all of you. Now we have a huge haul to sort through, and you know I’m already thinking about how I’m going to style everything!

Fall and Halloween are getting ready to make their exit at the Farmhouse 180 booths as we start clearing things out for a Thanksgiving themed reset.

And maybe, just maybe, we’ll sneak a little Christmas in before the full Christmas reset. We know a lot of you are already ready to get that tree up!

I took a day this week to sort through my recent finds and get everything into its proper bins and places in the storage room. And somewhere in the middle of all that organizing, I stopped to look at everything together and just smiled.

All those old books, vintage kitchen finds, frames, decor and more....some will make their way to the booths, some will be used in my own decorating, and some will probably sit until I figure out just what I want to do with them.

But that's part of what I love about this business. It's not just about finding things to sell. I genuinely love the things I bring home, and seeing them all together makes me happy.

So, of course, I had to take a picture and share it with you all! Are there certain vintage items you just can't pass up when you're out hunting for treasures?

Much to Sean’s dismay, I have a hard time throwing things away because I know I can always use them for something.

These old paperback books are a perfect example. The covers were worn and torn, but I loved the vintage look of the pages, so instead of tossing them, I gave them a little makeover.

I removed the ugly cover on one, stacked the books, wrapped them in twill, and tied everything up with jute twine. A few dried flowers and a vintage-inspired tag were all they needed to become a sweet little book stack.

I think the worn edges and imperfections are what make them charming. Not everything has to be new or perfect to be beautiful.

And this is exactly why I save things, Sean! 😉

One more little vignette in my house for spooky season.

I love mixing my farmhouse pieces with vintage finds, and decorating for Halloween is no different. Old bottles, rusty metal, worn wood, a little lace, and my Ouija board cutting board. Just some of my favorite things put together for a little touch of spooky.
I think the old vintage pieces make the best Halloween decor!

Okay, I can’t let myself get too carried away with Christmas without giving Halloween its due!

I love how this little setup came together. The vintage-inspired Halloween print in the old gold frame, the wooden numbers, the marmalade crock, and those vintage clown sewing patterns.

I have a pretty good collection of vintage sewing patterns, but there’s something about this one that makes it stand out from the rest. The illustrations are just so good!

Now to enjoy a little more of spooky season before I completely switch gears to Christmas in our house.

Our next Farmhouse 180 Christmas Pop Up is coming November 6 & 7, and we can't wait!

After Salem, I was in full-on Halloween mode, so naturally, all the Halloween decor came out!

This little sheep is new this year. I found him at Tractor Supply, but I knew I wanted to give him a little Farmhouse 180 treatment. I’ve been hanging onto these vintage stained linens because I just couldn’t bring myself to throw them away. I knew I’d find a use for them someday.

A little cutting, wrapping, and layering, and now he looks like he’s been around for years. I love how he turned out and how he fits right in with all my rusty crusty vintage pieces.

Sometimes it’s not about buying something old, but figuring out how to make something new fit right in with the old. And this is exactly what I had in mind!

Restock day at Farmhouse 180!

This is the last restock before the spookiness leaves the booth and the last fall restock before we switch things over for Thanksgiving. And then… CHRISTMAS!

We’re making the most of these last few weeks of fall, but behind the scenes, Christmas prep is already in full swing!

This weekend, I’m jumping into getting the building ready for our Christmas Pop Up, and I can’t wait to start bringing it all together. There’s a LOT to do, but you know we’ve been collecting Christmas all year long!
