Hot Mess Bracelet

Some days feel perfectly planned. Other days feel like coffee spills, forgotten appointments, emotions everywhere, and wondering how you’re going to hold it all together.

The truth is, we all have hot mess moments.

But our God is not intimidated by our chaos. He isn’t waiting for us to have it all figured out before He loves us. He steps into the middle of the mess, gathers the broken pieces, brings peace to the storm, and reminds us whose we are.

This bracelet is a simple reminder that even when life feels scattered, God is steady.

I’m a hot mess sometimes…
But God still holds every piece together.
He sees beauty in me,
calms the chaos,
and reminds me I am His.

Wear it as a reminder that God’s grace is bigger than your bad days, His love is stronger than your mistakes, and His hands are holding you together even when you feel like you’re falling apart.

Because being a hot mess doesn’t disqualify you from being deeply loved by God.

Do not grow weary in doing good…
even when it feels unseen.
Even when it feels slow.
Even when your heart is tired.

God sees every quiet act of obedience.
And in His perfect time…
there will be a harvest.

“For at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” — Psalm 33:12 🇺🇸

250 years of freedom… and still, our greatest calling remains the same.
To love well.
To walk humbly.
To stay rooted in Him.

As we celebrate this year, may we remember
our hope isn’t in a moment, a milestone, or even a nation…
it’s in the One who never changes.
Let’s be people who carry His Truth into every space we enter.
Living it. Sharing it. Reflecting it.

Remain in Me, and I will remain in you.” John 15:4

Before the worry… pray.
Before the reaction… pause.
Before the fear takes over… remember who holds you.

In every moment, every emotion, every unknown …
you are never walking alone.

Rahab—Imperfect, Yet Saved by Grace

The first words we hear from Rahab are lies. “I didn’t know where the men were from nor do I know where they went.” Not exactly the beginning we expect in our perfection obsessed world. We want the perfect story for our perfect family in our perfect homes. Think about it, as women what do we do when we’re expecting company? Most of us panic clean the house because heaven forbid someone see that we actually live there. A dirty dish? Scandalous! A bed not made? The horror! We are terrified that someone will see that we aren’t picture perfect. And why does that scare us? Because deep down, the true fear is that they will reject us if they see the true us.

That is what makes this story so beautiful and especially important for us as women, because if we’re honest, we are not perfect. Not even close. And the truth is, deep down inside us we each have terrible things we have thought, or done, because at our core we are sinners. That is the issue that needs to be dealt with and the true message in our lives that must be cleansed.

The blessing of hope and mercy are seen in this story through a scarlet thread that hangs out of Rahab’s window after she really sends the spies on their way. The spies tell her to hang it there and she and her household will be saved. The next step we see is her acting on her bold statements of faith that she made earlier, “I know that the Lord…the Lord your God, He is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.” Her faith was never in the spies or the scarlet thread, but in the God Who was leading them. And she knew, He would save and lead her as well.

The scarlet thread represented all that Rahab had been and all that God would make of her. It says in Isaiah‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬, “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” ‭‬‬ It was never about her past, or her status as a Gentile, it was about the Lord Who calls the “whomsoever wills.” The only thing separating you from God is…you. He is calling and all you need to do is respond. Your past is irrelevant because He is the One Who makes you a new creation in Jesus Christ with a new future.

And that is what Rahab received that day, not just physical salvation, but eternal salvation, and a really amazing lineage to the Messiah.
And we receive the same.
He is the One Who sees every imperfection, and will never reject you.

A True Celebration of Women: What is a woman?

The world is currently at odds attempting to answer that exact question. Some point to biology, some point to feelings and self identification, but the answer was given 6,000 years ago by our Creator when He created man and said, “It is not good that man should be alone, I will make a helper for him.” And the world was given the first woman: Eve.

Eve was to be everything Adam was not and everything he needed; perfectly created by the One Who knows what’s best. Eve was handcrafted from the rib of Adam by the hands of the Father. She was not a woman because she felt like one in her mind. She was not a woman merely because of chromosomes. She was a woman because God had specially formed each and every intricate design of her body, mind, and spirit. Adam and Eve were together in harmony and unashamed.

Yet, the enemy was watching and hated what God had created because he hated God Himself. And so the deception came and Eve yielded to the lies of the enemy. And that mistake is what has led us to the troubles we currently face every day. Chief among the troubles is sin. Despite Eve (and Adam) being the route through which sin entered the world, a promise was given through her—her Offspring would crush the head of her deceiver.

It is easy to point a finger at her without acknowledging that we fall victim to the same lies. Instead, let’s look at her story and rejoice in the hope given—we have been set free because her Offspring, Jesus Christ the Messiah, has indeed crushed the head of her, and our, deceiver. It is because of that truth that we, like Eve, can press on despite crushing blows, heart wrenching failures, and failed relationships. We rejoice because the relationship that should have been completely lost has been reconciled—the one with our Heavenly Father. And in Christ, we are entirely forgiven, accepted, and empowered to move forward despite the shame of our past.
