🍈 ONE MONTH FROM TODAY: Figapalooza 2026 🍈

One month.

On Saturday, September 19, Figapalooza returns to Greenville for its fourth year—and if you’ve only seen the name pass through your Facebook feed, this is the post that tells you what the day actually is.

Figapalooza is Greenville’s Fig Festival, but you do not need to own a fig tree—or know anything about figs—to have a good time here.

Last year, more than 900 people came out and 40+ vendors filled the festival. This year we’re bringing together growers, nurseries, farms, restaurants, food businesses, artisans, homesteaders and members of the wider fig community for five hours at the Eastern Carolina Village & Farm Museum.

Here’s what you’ll find:

🌱 FIG TREES, PLANTS & GROWERS

Come looking for your first fig tree or your fiftieth.

Growers will be bringing fig trees, unusual varieties, fruiting plants, nursery stock and plenty of firsthand knowledge. If you’ve ever wondered why people get so obsessed with figs, this is a good place to find out.

🍴 COME HUNGRY

Figapalooza is not just a plant sale.

Expect prepared food, fresh drinks, baked goods, specialty foods, fig-inspired products, sauces, preserves, infused olive oils, balsamics and more.

🛍️ SHOP LOCAL & HANDMADE

You’ll also find handmade goods, artisan products, farm and pantry items, garden and homestead goods, specialty products and businesses you may never have encountered before.

🎤 FIG EDUCATION — AROUND NOON

This year we’re expanding the educational side of the festival with members of the wider fig community, including:

Danny Gentile — founder of figBid.com
Phil D’Angelis — Phil’s Figs
Randall — Flomaton Famous
Miles George — Trees & Bees / MilesFig

We’ll share the final program schedule as we get closer, but plan to be around the raffle area around noon.

🎟️ THE RAFFLE IS GETTING RIDICULOUS

Sponsors and vendors have already contributed fig trees, restaurant gift cards, merchandise, food, handmade goods, pet baskets, specialty products and much more.

One highlight alone: Agri Supply has contributed two separate $150 gift cards — $300 total.

And that’s one prize donor.

Sign up for the Forest of Eden email list at Figapalooza and receive your first raffle ticket free.

The raffle drawing is planned for 1:00 PM.

Most importantly, Figapalooza is a chance to spend a Saturday around people who grow things, make things, cook things, build things and genuinely enjoy talking about what they do.

Come for the figs.

Come for the food.

Come for the plants.

Come for the shopping.

Come to learn something.

Or come because you’ve been seeing for months and finally want to know what all of this is about.

One month to go.

Figapalooza 2026 - Greenville's Fig Festival isn't just a place to buy figs.

It's five hours built around the entire world that grows up around them.

On Saturday, September 19, Figapalooza returns to Greenville for its fourth year, bringing together fig growers and collectors, nurseries, farms, food businesses, artisans, homesteaders, gardeners and people who may be completely new to figs but are curious enough to see what all the excitement is about.

Last year's festival welcomed more than 900 people and 40+ vendors. This year, we're building on that with an even broader mix of fig trees and plants, local food, handmade goods, specialty products, educational programming, experienced growers and members of the larger fig community coming together in one place.

Come looking for a new fig variety.

Come hungry.

Come meet the growers and makers behind the things you're buying.

Come learn something you didn't know about figs.

Come because you garden, homestead, collect, cook, grow—or because you just want to spend a Saturday morning at a festival that is unlike anything else happening around Greenville.

And while you're there, you may wind up going home with a lot more than you expected.

Because...

🍈 THE RAFFLE IS GETTING RIDICULOUS. 🍈

We started collecting raffle prizes for Figapalooza 2026.

Then our sponsors and vendors kept adding things.

And adding things.

And adding things.

At this point, the raffle is becoming an attraction of its own.

When you arrive at Figapalooza on Saturday, September 19, stop by the Forest of Eden raffle tables, check out the growing prize lineup, and sign up for the Forest of Eden email list to receive your first raffle ticket free.

The raffle drawing is planned for 1:00 PM.

And there is already a LOT to win.

🎟️ SPONSOR PRIZE HIGHLIGHTS

Agri Supply
Two separate $150 Agri Supply gift cards — $300 total.

FigBrew
A roughly $170 FigBrew collection featuring Original Digestive Roast, Morning Prebiotic Blend, concentrated fig espresso cold-brew, Coffee Neutralizing Drops, a ceramic mug, travel mug, French press, and branded gift bag.

Encino Greenville + La Tovarra
Two $50 Encino gift cards plus a $60 La Tovarra gift card — $160 total.

The Outpatient Veterinary Clinic
Two separate pet-focused prizes: one dog basket and one cat basket.

Fig Fanatic
Seven pieces of Fig Fanatic merchandise, with a stated combined value of $192.

And those are only the sponsor contributions.

🌱 FIG TREES? ABSOLUTELY.

Trusty Farms is contributing a rare Angelito fig tree.

Fruits & Blooms is contributing a fig tree along with additional small items.

Wade Giddens Figs is contributing a fig tree.

Trees & Bees is contributing both a fig tree and honey.

And this is Figapalooza, so we would be disappointed if the raffle didn't involve actual fig trees.

🍞 FOOD, LOCAL GOODS & OTHER PRIZES

WolfesGems & Originals — charcuterie featuring fig salami

Sip-n-Snak Hut — a full fresh-lemonade gift basket with two “I Got My Squeeze Today” shirts, ingredients, juicer, directions and cups

Harvestlight Gardens — garlic-infused olive oil

NOBA — sourdough loaf made from their family heirloom starter

Handicrafts by Deborah — handmade bee trap

Thatbutterflygirlie — framed preserved butterfly display

…and more prizes are still being added.

This is exactly what we hoped the Figapalooza raffle would become: a giant cross-section of the businesses, growers, makers, restaurants and fig people helping build this year's festival.

Come see everything in person.

Come meet the people behind it.

And maybe go home with something you absolutely did not expect to win when you walked through the gate.
