A few new finds made their way into the booth today at Stillwater Antiques Center / Antiques Alley🤎🍂

We added a pair of framed duck prints from England, the sweetest little terracotta jack-o’-lantern, a beautiful burgundy ginger jar, plus a few other pieces that didn’t make it into the photos.

We are slowly bringing in those warmer colors and little touches of fall while keeping everything true to the classic, collected Ridge & Gable Home style.

And while we were there, we snapped a few close-ups of some of the other pieces currently in the booth because there are so many good little details tucked throughout. 👀

Autumn has officially entered the chat and we are here for it 🤎

Mornings in Rhode Island are starting to feel a little more like fall… and so is the Ridge & Gable Home booth at Stillwater Antiques Center / Antiques Alley🍂🤎🍁

We’ve started slowly layering in those first touches of the season—warmer tones, rich woods, aged metals, vintage books, and pieces that bring that cozy, collected feeling we love.

No pumpkins everywhere just yet 😂 — just subtle hints of fall mixed into the classic, traditional pieces already in the booth.

This is a silver-plated butter dish, a beautiful table accessory that was commonly found in homes during the early 20th century.

But here’s our favorite part…

Some of the best vintage and antique pieces don’t have to be used for what they were originally created for. Giving them a new purpose is part of the fun—and one of the easiest ways to bring timeless character into your home.

One of our favorite ways to style these is as a candle riser. Simply remove the lid, place your favorite candle inside, and you’ve created an elegant accent for a coffee table, console, dining table, built-ins, nightstand, or entryway.

So next time you see one (even if it’s missing the glass insert or butter knife), don’t pass it by—it might just become your favorite decorating piece.

It's hard to believe we've already been part of the Stillwater Antique Center family for two months! Before anything else, we simply want to say thank you.
