I have found a new source for different cat silhouettes that I love!
Did you know that cats appear aloof because they don’t have or use the facial muscles that dogs have evolved to communicate with humans? Even though cats have associated with humans through history longer than dogs have, they haven’t evolved that method of bonding…probably because they are more efficient predators than dogs.
So cats appear aloof because, even though they may love their humans, they aren’t as dependent on humans as dogs are.
This is what I try to tell my 15 lb. Stan as I shove him off my lap, my keyboard, my counters, my paperwork, etc!
