Some spaces practically tell you what they want to be. 👏

This recessed nook was the perfect sport for a Murphy bed. Instead of leaving an awkward space to fill, the bed fits right into the architecture of the room, with a little extra shelving tucked alongside it.

Closed up, the room stays wide open and usable. When it's needed, there's a queen-size sleeping space hiding right there in the wall.

Sometimes custom isn't about adding more. It's about making really good use of what's already there. 🤍

Apple season is officially here in Upstate SC. 🍎

And around here, a "quick trip to the orchard" has a way of ending with a whole lot more apples than you planned for.

A little pantry reset can make room for all the good stuff that comes with fall: baking staples, crockpot season, after-school snacks, busy sports nights and, of course, the apple haul.

We're pretty lucky to live right in the middle of apple country, so we shared a few of our favorite local orchards, too!

A little real-life content for your Monday. 🎃

The floating witch hats are up. The board games are crammed onto the shelves. And whatever is happening with the Eggo boxes is apparently a very important project my kids are working on, so naturally it lives in the entryway now. 🤪

Meanwhile, the Smoke Green cabinetry is doing exactly what it was designed to do: look good while holding all the stuff that comes with actually living in a house.

No professional styling. No perfectly staged shelves. Just a very real entryway, a little Halloween magic, and custom storage earning its keep. 🧙‍♀️
