Our monthly newsletter, The Louise Letter popped into your inbox this morning (or you can find it linked in our profile!) and we couldn’t be more excited to finally share a project that’s been many years in the making in all its glory. This is actually a two parter and we started by sharing the main level living spaces along with lots of updates from projects in the works. Hannah and I both had babies while we were working on this project and we often and lovingly referred to this as our third baby. We couldn’t be more honored to have been a part of it and proud ☀️

It's been something like 12 years give or take since I took the plunge to start ALI and that in and of itself is absolutely wild! Even wilder is that this summer we closed on our first ever brick and mortar studio!! The last 5 months have kept us busy and we are just now getting these spaces to a place where they are starting to feel like us but the real truth is I've just been at a loss of words... While yes I know we are business and businesses have office spaces to operate out of, the 20-something-year-old in me is just still blown away that this is her real life! It is absolutely not lost on me that none of this would have been possible without my team and all these years of incredible clients. We look forward to opening our doors to many of you in the future (think presentations, pop ups, parties, etc) and using this special place to let our creativity run free!

Every room tells a story and just like your favorite novel, the more thoughtful the details, the richer the plot. Home to one of Greenville's favorite story-tellers, this kitchen has been has been in the family for generations and what a joy it was to add to the story and make this space a place where new memories could be made! Character is the *main* character in this tale. Like the antique island we sourced from Round Top, an old pine hutch, and chippy doors found by the homeowner - it all gives off the feeling that they have been in the house for 40 years!
