Whole home renovations. Single space makeovers. New builds. Our team will work with your house, family, and needs to create both a beautiful and functional home. Link in bio to learn more and schedule a call with Amanda Louise.

We’re going to walk you through a whole home renovation and try to point out what you’re looking at in the before and after shots.

This pantry is tucked behind the door on the yellow wall in the before photo. The new louvered doors keep everything neat and hidden but lend a more approachable feel than solid wood.

We moved the original kitchen (pictured in the background of the before shot) to the living room for flow and extra space.

The hood vent in the after shot is actually located on the paneled wall with the HVAC return.

Connected to the new location for the kitchen, this eat-in nook got some added cabinetry.

We kept the layout the same and gave the color palette a new lease on life this kids’ bathroom.

We stole space from the shower to add to the pantry (pictured in the first slide). This bathroom is located on the first floor, so the homeowners didn’t think a shower would serve their needs.

I love to work on living rooms more than any other room. The layers, the versatility, the personality always make them the most dynamic spaces in my opinion.

Some of our favorite ways to make the most of living rooms
1. Max out seating: I love a diverse assortment of seating. Deep seats, shallow seats, large seats, little seats, hard seats, soft seats…. You get the picture, a real goldilocks approach to mama, papa, and baby all having a spot and the assuring that the space has a multitude of functions.
2. Mix textiles in a way that feels collected over time. Of course we want things to feel cohesive but the mix shouldn’t be too too perfect.
3. In with the old: Mixing in antiques and vintage finds is key to inspiring spaces and adding authentic interest.

A room that’s easy like Sunday morning. Meant for lounging, spending time with the fam, quiet time and game night alike. We started by defining the room with bookshelves and an update to the existing fireplace, giving the room purpose and architectural interest.
