That face.

That is exactly why I created these.

Because someday, the leotard won’t fit anymore. The medals will hang on a wall. The skills she worked so hard to learn will become the ones she can do without even thinking.

And that little girl in the competition video?

She’ll grow up.

But this moment doesn’t have to.

Elaine’s keepsake was created from her gymnastics story. Her photo. Her name. Her moment. And tucked right into the design is a QR code that brings her performance back to life anytime she wants to watch it.

Then her mom sent me this picture of her opening it.

And honestly, this is the whole reason. 🥹

I don’t want to make something that gets opened, admired, and eventually tucked away in a box.

I want to make something that lets these girls look back years from now and remember exactly who they were, what they worked for, and how it felt when they realized they could fly.

Elaine, I think your face says it all. 💜

You were born to fly. And this moment is yours to keep.

Some people come into your life through your kids… and end up leaving a mark on your whole heart. 💜

Getting to create these pieces for Colbie was extra special to me, because over the last few years, watching her and Elliot’s friendship grow has been such a gift.

But the reason this family means so much to us goes far beyond gymnastics.

When Page (Colbie’s mom) found out Elliot would have to attend UK Gymnastics Camp alone, she signed Colbie up too so she wouldn’t have to walk into it by herself. She’s the kind of mom who notices people, includes people, and creates the kind of warmth that makes others feel safe and welcomed.

The kind who hosts cookie decorating nights for the girls.
The kind who turns teammates into lifelong friendships.
The kind who makes a gym feel like home.

This post is not about custom pieces, it’s about people like them..the ones who remind you that kindness matters, community matters.

We are going to miss seeing Colbie every week more than words can say, but we’re so excited to watch her shine in this next chapter. ✨

Funny how some of the best ideas begin with a story.

My daughter put my granddaughter in gymnastics, and like many moms do, she sat in the stands watching and cheering her on. New place, new faces… sitting alone and just soaking in every little moment.

Then one mom simply said, “Hi.”

She invited her to sit with her, and just like that… mom friends.

As their first competition season came to an end, my daughter wanted to do something special to show her gratitude and reached out to me to help create a meaningful gift. 💜

And somewhere in the process of creating this piece… we both got emotional.😭

Because suddenly this wasn’t just about gymnastics anymore…

It was about ALL the moments.

The first steps.
The missing teeth smile.
The oversized backpack.
The game-winning hit.
The dance recital.
The awkward school pictures that somehow become your favorites.

Because becoming a parent, and even more so, becoming a grandparent, changes the way you see time. 🕰️ 🛑

Your camera roll becomes proof that it’s all moving way too fast, and you find yourself trying to hold onto every single second.

Now my mind is spinning because what if this became more than a single moment?

What if you could create something that grows alongside your child… from crawling to graduation… turning all those little moments into something you could see, hold, and relive?

Because if we could freeze time for just a little while… we all would. 🥰
