Hi again, we have settled back in after a delightful 3 days of Finger Lakes Fiber Tour. Our featured instructor, Anne Hanson, has posted some great pictures and comments on her Facebook-Knitspot. Be sure to check it out!

And yes, there is still yarn left in the shop even after the Tour ladies shopped to their heart's content. It was a great time. Perhaps next summer we can do it again.....

Good news-Bad news*** We sold out of Schaefer yarns, BUT a trip to Interlaken (about 20 miles) yielded small quantities of hand dyed Anne, a fine fi*****ng weight, Heather, a wool silk fi*****ng and Audrey, a 50-50 wool and silk with 700 yds. The first skein sold 20 minutes after I put them on the shelf. See you soon.

On Sat., July 27 we will host a Lace Scarf/Shawl Class with Anne Hanson. This DK yarn was spun at MJ,s Battenkill Fiber Mill and custon dyed at Briar Rose. The fiber is 40% Romney and 60% American merino put up in 8 oz. skeins. The yarn will be available to class students (call to sign up-607-535-9710). After the class it will be available here if any is left.
