OMG heyyyyy! 👋

Life has been full lately. Our regular 9–5s have definitely been giving 9–7 energy 😅 but we’re making it work!

Plot twist: we somehow ended up with free chickens 🐓 and of course they now have names — Elouise and Pearl. Collecting the prettiest little pink eggs has honestly been such a joy.

Mr. Iron Poppy has been hard at work building the coop (because obviously they deserve the cutest setup), and we also got to visit the sweetest little babies who will be joining our little homestead in about a month. I can’t wait 🥹

We’re still moving forward with our new selling platform — just navigating that beautiful chaos called life.

And can we PLEASE take a moment for this absolutely gorgeous broccoli I grew?! 🥦✨ You know you’re in California when you’re harvesting fresh veggies in January. 🌞🌿

More soon… we’re building, growing, and clucking right along over here 💛

Update....after 2 hours and many offers of, "how far do you live and ya need some help.." we removed a finial on the bed and it all fit!!

In my small town feels tonight. I dont think I have made it to a parade in 15 years. Im sure glad I did it was wonderful to run in to friends and family on the street, watching a the littles run after candy and seeing the look on my nephews face when he saw auntie in the crowd. I could feel my grammy with me just like she was there. So greatfull to be home.

**Life has been full of big, beautiful changes for Iron Poppy Antiques.**

Over the last few months, our family packed up our life in Indiana and made our way back to our home state of California. We found a little piece of land in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and it already feels like the place our hearts have been trying to get back to.

We’ve been soaking in family time, reconnecting, and spending countless hours in nature — truly letting our souls breathe. I’ve started a new chapter as a hospice RN, and Mr. Iron Poppy has been busy clearing land and preparing the site for our future home. We’re excited to share our home-build and homestead adventures with you as this next chapter unfolds.

As for the antique treasures — don’t worry, I’ve been quietly stashing away all the goodness for whatever came next. And now it’s time. A new selling platform is on the horizon, and I can’t wait to share the full announcement soon.

To our junk family at FrenChic Antiques Antiques: we are forever grateful. I miss the seasonal resets, the summer shows, the endless junk hunts, and most of all, the friendships. Tanya, love you, girl.
