Hi, Friends of the Copper Barrel & Greer Cafe. We wanted to thank you all for 5 great years of support and let you know what's happening this Fall. We will be closing our doors at 6PM on Sunday, September 11th, 2016.

The company that owns The Greer Cafe,The Copper Barrel and the Park here at 60 Main Street

has recently suffered an unrecoverable loss resulting from their attempts to lease and operate

The Greer Peaks Resort back in 2012­13.

Unfortunately this means we will be unable to continue operations at 60 Main Street. Therefore

THIS Labor Day Weekend will be our last days open to the public. The week following will be a

“local appreciation week” of sorts, as we clean the pantry & you will enjoy half off bargains at the store.! Please stop by to help say goodbye.

The property will remain closed indefinitely or until sold. We have no further details at this time.

Changes in store for the Copper Barrel! We've been working to rearrange and repurpose our main floor of the store. You will see a more open space as you walk in the door, along with cases of goodies such as pies, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and FUDGE! We will be making fudge every week for your sweet tooth cravings. There will also be some amazing chocolates and old fashioned candy for the kids and adults.

We still have lots of souvenirs, antiques, collectibles, art, cards, postcards, toys and Huckleberry products.

Come see our new look and all our delicious desserts! We open officially May 15, 2016, although I've been open when I'm here working and the weekends. See you soon!

It's nearly the end of our 2015 season. If you have been looking at something in the store, now is the time to buy it! We are giving a 20% discount on everything in the store from now until we close sometime in October. It's a great time to buy that antique, a beautiful picture or artwork for your home or cabin, or a gift for Christmas! Get it now before we close for the season. It's beautiful in Greer right now....cool fall weather, and yes, the aspens are beginning to change into their fall colors!

What a beautiful Memorial Day! Thank you to all who served our great country.
Today starts the official Summer 2015 season with new hours. We will be open every day through the summer! Monday - Thursday 9-4, Friday & Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 9-3. Come in and see what's happening at the Copper Barrel!

Today we open for the summer. Stop in and say hello to Cathy and Judy soon and see what's new & "old". We have some new antiques, a working early 1900's Singer treadle sewing machine, unique ladies shirts and scarves. Lots of fun stuff to look at while the weather is cold and wet. We have warm vests, jackets, blankets and sweatshirts for everyone! Then head over to the Greer Café for some delicious food! See you soon!

It's almost time for the 2015 season to open. We will be open May 15 through October 15 this year. Come see us for some new and exciting ideas at the Copper Barrel. And have fabulous food next door at the Greer Café.

Hi Everyone! The store will open this year on Thursday, May 15th. We have a huge sale going on for all the older inventory in the store. Everything will be marked with colored dots and will be 35-50% off! So if there is something you've had your eye on, now is the time to make a deal. Come in and see what's new and what's on sale.
