There’s something really special about watching a house begin to feel like home. Yesterday was reveal day for this project, and getting to walk through these spaces with my client as she FaceTimed her husband in California made the moment even sweeter.

This home was designed to feel thoughtfully considered, layered, welcoming, and truly livable. A forever home that feels beautiful without feeling untouchable. A place to gather, relax, host family, drink coffee in the mornings, and fully live in every single day.

Like many projects, we had a few key pieces delayed longer than expected, but my clients were incredibly patient and trusting throughout the process. I’m so grateful for that trust because it allowed us to create a home that feels complete, personal, and deeply reflective of them. We’re still waiting on a coffee table, a console table for the entryway, and drapery installation for the living room and bedroom but we are getting so close!

Design is never just about furniture or finishes. It’s about creating spaces that support the life happening inside them. And this one was worth the wait. 💚

It comes together in the layering. The way pattern is introduced and then softened. The balance between structure and ease. The mix of materials that feel collected over time rather than chosen all at once.

Nothing here is competing for attention, but everything is contributing to the whole.
