Finished up this “wedding” bench— made of white oak with a gray-brown stain and a couple coats of clear. Engraved the top with a router free-hand and filled the engraved area with a dark grey acrylic. The crates are natural finished white oak to add a little contrast. Fun project to build! Another project in the books! A customer had a barn door which we used as the back of the island. We fabricated the ends to match the door thus creating the island. We decided to leave it unfinished— matched some barn wood in the home. Very fun project to design and build!

Just finished restoring these amazingly detailed chairs for the El Paso Masonic temple. We removed all of the old upholstery, stripped the old finish, repaired where necessary, reglued joints, stained and finished, and finally new upholstery. Zoom in on the pictures and check out the detail involved-- it is truly incredible. It was an honor to restore such masterpieces of their time.

Blanket chest made entirely of reclaimed lumber. Shell and top are made of pallet wood, while the cedar-lining is milled from downed utility poles. Also has an anti-slam closer. Color is called "castle stone" and is topped with two coats of water based poly.

Finally finished this farmhouse table. Top is made of distressed white oak and is expandable to allow for a 17" leaf. Legs are all cut from a reclaimed barn beam. Each leg has an original hand cut mortise to add a little extra "farm" character. Stained to customer specifications and topped with 4 coats of poly. Legs have levelers on the bottom and were power washed prior to construction. Lots of fun building this for a great friend and his family!
