This is why I love crocheting. Giving thoughtful gifts like this. I decided to make my daughter's bus driver a baby blanket after she came home one day after school, saying her bus driver announced that she was pregnant with a baby girl.
I love giving gifts, and crocheting is a perfect way to put that love into every gift. This blanket took forever, but I am so incredibly happy with how it turned out.
Out of all of the bus drivers my daughter has had between pre k last year and kinder this year, this one has been our favorite because she always had a smile on her face and she cared for every kid on her bus.
She's on maternity leave now, and we hope she and her family have an amazing and blessed summer.
I put my business card in with the blanket so she knew who made it, not even for business recognition or referrals. I hope she knows she had an amazing impact on my daughter and the other kids who rode her bus.

Y’all, I promise I’m still around. I took a huge step back from crocheting because it was taking up SO much time from my family.

I’m going to re-introduce myself for those that don’t know. I’m a mom to a beautiful 6 year old girl and handsome little 3 year old boy. They’re both a handful but I love them more than anything. I’m currently a stay at home mom. I (obviously) love crocheting, reading, video games and watching movies, tv shows and YouTube vids. I love ghost videos on YouTube the most. I’m not one to post pics of myself very often. I’m more comfortable behind the camera rather than in front.

I had a few big orders last year that I was working on from the time I woke up to the time I went to bed. I’m still crocheting but it’s not a 24/7 thing now. I’m still open for commission pieces.
I just finished up some cute Valentine’s Day gnomes for my daughter’s class and I totally spaced on getting pics to post so here’s a picture of me lol.

I promise that I’m still around and I’ll still be posting, just probably not as often as I was.

I got so luckily, I won yarn chicken last night and just barely had enough to finish all of the heads 😅 that little piece of yarn in front is all I had left after I finished the last one lol. Now I give these 25 opossums body's

BTW I'm totally obsessed with patterns which is what this adorable opossum is. I highly recommend her patterns. I love that they're no sew and easy to follow.

it's been a hell of the last two weeks. Our ac went out and living in Texas with a tiny, borrowed window unit and a couple of fans was 🥵 and now that it's back on, I'm getting over from being sick and now my oldest is sick and out of school. 🙃
when it rains, it pours, but I'm blessed to get this order and blessed to have a roof over our head and our ac back on.

Never in a million years did I think I would be using yarn out of my stash to make Elsa’s hair for my 5 year old daughter’s pumpkin project for school. But here I am, spending almost 2 hours working on this to make it look like hair. 😂 now, I get to let her paint it another day (I’m painting around the hair lol).
